RTCA DO-160 – Section 4.0 – Temperature and Altitude

 

The Temperature and Altitude tests determine the performance characteristics of equipment at the applicable categories for the temperatures and altitudes specified in Table 4-1 and at the pressures defined in Table 4-2.
  • Ground Survival Low Temperature Test and Short-Time Operating Low Temperature Test Operating Low Temperature Test
  • Ground Survival High Temperature Test and Short-Time Operating High Temperature Test
  • Operating High Temperature Test
  • In-Flight Loss of Cooling Test
  • Altitude, Decompression and Overpressure Tests

  • Overpressure Test

 

DO-160 is a standard for environmental test on avionics equipment published by RTCA, the Radio Technical Commission for Aeronautics. The DO 160 G was amended and now all guideline inside it are repleaced by the DO 357.
On our website you can find only some abstracts of the document, for the full text of the guideline you have to purchased it from RTCA.
We remember you that now DO 160 G cannot be read without DO 357.
