c) PURPOSE, LEGAL BASIS AND MANDATORY OR OPTIONAL NATURE OF THE PROCESSING

c.1) MAIN PURPOSE:

  • To send notices concerning company activities (offers/orders to both customers and suppliers). – Sending notices with technical content inherent to company activities – Sending commercial/marketing proposals – Controlling access to the CELAB information system for security purposes – Preventing unauthorised persons from accessing specific functions of the CELAB information system – Analysing the flow of traffic on the CELAB site; Providing the services covered by the contract; Entering personal data in computer databases; bookkeeping and invoicing; managing receipts and payments.

The aforementioned data are processed automatically in order to : – Detect possible unwanted access to CELAB information (by automatic analysis of the documents viewed). – Manage business activities with the person concerned as indicated in the contracts (by automatically sending alerts and alarms). – Profiling the interested party in order to send Marketing proposals (by means of sending commercial proposals based on the same types of activities already carried out in the past for the same company).

VIDEO SURVEILLANCE

As part of its activities, Celab S.r.l. has installed a video surveillance system on its internal and external premises to guarantee the safety of goods and persons. This system used in compliance with current privacy regulations, the Personal Data Protection Code (Legislative Decree 196/2003 and subsequent Legislative Decree 101/2018) and Article 4 of the Workers’ Statute (L.300/1970).

  1. Purpose and legal basis of processing

The images collected through the video surveillance system are processed in order to protect the security and integrity of property and persons and to prevent possible unlawful acts. Such processing is justified by the legitimate interest of the Controller in protecting the security of goods and persons.

2. Processing methods

Filming is carried out by cameras positioned in such a way as to avoid filming areas that are not relevant for security purposes and, in particular, places where the confidentiality of individuals could be compromised. No audio footage is taken. Images are stored for a limited period and subsequently deleted or anonymised. Access to recordings is restricted to individuals specifically authorised by the Data Controller.

3. Information

Information signs are placed at the entrance to the video surveillance area and at other relevant points, indicating the presence of the video surveillance system and indicating the Data Controller and how to exercise your rights under data protection legislation.

4. Communication and storage

The images may be communicated to the police or to the judicial authorities if this is necessary for the identification and prosecution of the perpetrators of offences against persons or property occurring within the areas under video surveillance.

The recordings are kept for a period not exceeding the period strictly necessary for the purposes for which they were collected and, in any case, in accordance with current local regulations.
