Products and systems in the railway industry are subjected to considerable mechanical, electrical and environmental stress. Standards include, for example EN 50121-x, EN 50153, EN 50155, IEC 60950-1 / EN 62368-1, EN 50129, EN 50155, IEC 60068…
CELAB can organise and perform a wide range of laboratory activities for companies in the railway sector in the areas of automation, infrastructure, vehicles and signalling.
The services are aimed at all suppliers of companies working in the world of rail transport (train, tram, trolley bus, metro, funicular).
CELAB can execute both dynamic and static tests in the main standards, on on-board components, mechanical parts, subsystems, ground installations (switchboards, ground control systems), signalling equipment and various types of apparatus.
The tests we can perform are wide ranging:
- Electrical tests: of electromagnetic compatibility, electrical safety, on radio equipment and telecommunications terminals
- Environmental testing: temperature, humidity, saline atmosphere, acid-base environments, fluid contamination
- Mechanical testing: vibration, shock, endurance (burn-in)
We also have our calibration centre with samples having LAT ACCREDIA or other international organisation traceability, equipped with all the necessary tools to perform the specific activities.
