CELAB has gained a great experience in these years in the qualification tests defined by civil and military aviation.
CELAB is also part of the RTCA DO 160 (Environmental Conditions and Test Procedures for Airborne Equipment) EUROCAE ED-14 working groups, a joint group for the same standard. Here, it continuously exchanges information with members of the group (with companies such as Honeywell, Eurocopter, Airbus, Sagem and others). Thanks to these cooperations, CELAB is able to have super partes interpretations of the requirements of DO 160, as well as information on its evolution.
In our labs, we can run most EMC and environmental tests in accordance with the DO 160 standards for both civil and military aviation.
In detail, check all the environmental tests we can perform for the RTCA DO 160 (A-G) and EUROCAE ED 14 (C, D, F, G) standards in their various editions.
On your devices we are therefore able to
- perform the qualification tests required by the standard;
- prepare the necessary qualification test plans (QTP, Qualification Test Procedures);
- perform correctness checks on test documents (QTR, Qualification Test Report);
- perform witnessing audits on tests performed at other laboratories or other locations;
- provide interpretation of the DO 160/ED 14 standards;
- report to the RTCA/EUROCAE working groups requests for amendments to the standard for future editions.
